Successful applicants are those who can invest in Canada, start businesses in Canada and generate income and jobs for Canadians. In order to foster the development of a strong and prosperous economic environment, the Canadian government is looking for entrepreneurs with sufficient business experience and assets.

• Visa venture capital for immigrant investors: for investors with a net worth of at least CND $ 10 million who are willing to invest a minimum of CND $ 2 million in the Canadian Investment Capital Fund. This category is not always available and was temporarily closed on December 30, 2015.
• Start-up Visa: for successful business owners or co-owners with great experience and intention and ability to own and operate a business in Canada, which generates income and employment. The company must have the support of an organization in the list of organizations designated by Visa for new companies in Canada.
• Self Employed Visa: for people with relevant experience in world-class sports or cultural activities or with experience in farm management, who have the intention and ability to work on their own in Canada;
