The Province of Atlantic Canada, Prince Edward Island, has issued new invitations to applicants during its immigration program Express Entry, Workforce Impact and Impact on Business, December 20 .
A total of 65 invitations were sent to the Express Entry and Labour Impact Candidates and another 9 were issued to business class and work permits.
The Prince Edward Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) did not provide a breakdown of the number of invited candidates or the minimum score.
The PEI PCP. Now, 1,240 invitations were sent in 2018 in the categories Express entry and Impact in the labor market, which represents 86% of all invitations issued this year by the different immigration categories in the province.
Express Entry Applicants who wish to be considered for immigration to PEI Generally, they must first complete an online Expression of Interest (EOI) profile and send it to the province’s immigration office.
EOIs are scored and assigned based on six selection factors: age, language, training, work experience, employment and adaptability, up to a maximum of 100 points. Eligible applicants are placed in the Express PEI EOI Entry Group. According to your scores.
PEI’s Labour Impact Category also operates on an EOI basis and is divided into three streams
- Skilled Worker
- Critical Worker
- International Graduate.
Prince Edward Island is home to EOI applicants from the Federal Express Entry Group who do not have a job offer in the province. However, priority is given to those who live and work in the province. The PEI Immigration Office also started communicating with the Office of Equal Opportunities, but may be able to respond to the needs of the province’s market.
Express-entry applicants who apply for and receive a provincial request from Prince Edward Island receive an additional 600 points for their score on the Comprehensive ranking system.
